Privacy Policy — Blackwood Ledger

Effective June 8, 2026 · Operated by Max Goshay (Headlands Software) for Blackwood JG LLC · max.goshay@gmail.com

1. Who this covers

Blackwood Ledger is a private bookkeeping application used to keep the financial records of Blackwood JG LLC. This policy explains what information the application accesses, how that information is used, and how it is protected. It is a private, single-business tool and is not offered to the public.

2. Information we access

3. How we use it

The data is used solely for bookkeeping and accounting for Blackwood JG LLC — categorizing transactions, reconciling accounts, and preparing financial and tax records. It is not used for advertising, profiling, or any other purpose.

4. How we share it

We do not sell, rent, or trade this information. Bank data is delivered through Plaid under Plaid's End User Privacy Policy. Apart from that processing, the data is not disclosed to any third party except where required by law.

5. How we protect it

6. How long we keep it

Bookkeeping records are retained for the period required for tax and accounting recordkeeping — a minimum of 7 years. The Plaid connection token is kept only while the bank connection is active, and is revoked and deleted when the connection is removed.

7. Your choices

The account owner can disconnect the linked bank at any time — which revokes Plaid's access — and can request deletion of the associated data.

8. Changes

This policy may be updated as practices or requirements change; the effective date above reflects the current version.
